They’re making a How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days sequel
Paramount is developing a sequel to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, with Kate Hudson involved as a producer. The original movie came out in 2003, which means Hollywood has apparently reached the part of the nostalgia cycle where early-2000s romantic comedies qualify as legacy franchises.
The consumer is getting more cautious — especially about big purchases
The consumer isn’t disappearing, but the bigger purchases are getting harder to justify. New-home sales dropped sharply in July, mortgage rates remain close to 7%, and consumer confidence fell again in August. The economy increasingly looks like one where people will still spend — but they want a much better reason before committing to something expensive.

The Big Ten is set to pass a rule that would prevent players from returning from the NFL to play for a Big Ten school.
Any player who has declared for the NFL Draft and did not withdraw, appeared on an NFL roster, or signed a contract with a pro league will not be eligible to join a Big Ten roster.
Seems like common sense. Can’t believe a separate rule needs to be made….Thanks Lane Kiffin.

Enes Kanter Freedom ejected from a WNBA game
Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom was ejected from Sunday night’s Chicago Sky–Indiana Fever game after a heated exchange with Sky guard Natasha Cloud. Freedom was sitting courtside wearing a shirt reading “WOMAN noun. adult human female,” amid his recent criticism of transgender participation in women’s sports.
Late in the third quarter, Cloud scored, then yelled and pointed toward Freedom during a timeout. Freedom stood up, approached her with his arms out and stepped onto the court; security, an official and Sky players separated them, and Freedom was escorted from the arena.
Enes Kanter Freedom and Natasha Cloud go at it courtside.
